Vice President:
Bob Gingher has worked as a teacher, businessman, journalist,
photographer/graphic designer and part-time jazz pianist. In retirement the
last job descriptions are winning out. Bob also serves on the board of
directors for The Music Academy of North Carolina.
In his view the Rizzo project is a seed destined to grow into a sheltering
and nourishing forest for our children and grandchildren, one that moth and
rust will not consume.
Founder/Director:
Nathan Wainscott and his wife Melodie have two children; Gabriel and
Olivia. Nathan grew up as a rock-n-roll kid in Greensboro and has worked
in the fields of horticulture and decorative arts. He now owns a decorative
finishing business in Greensboro. "I hope to garner the support of
Greensboro's most powerful and influential to open Greensboro's own
School of Rock very soon.
Treasurer:
Jennifer Hance is a native of Greensboro, NC. She graduated from Western Guilford
High and attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She studied Music
Education and Performance and graduated with a BM in Music Education and Oboe
Performance. Jennifer is currently the Director of the Music Center with City Arts. In
addition to accepting the position of Treasurer for The Rizzo Center, she oversees all the
Community Ensembles for the City of Greensboro, the OPUS Concert Series, the Music
for a Sunday Evening in the Park Concert Series, and the Private Instruction Program.

Social Chair:
Casey Hazelman and his Wife Nancy are both Greensboro Natives. They
have two children, Caroline plays clarinet and saxophone and Patrick is a
trumpeter. A second generation musician, Casey is President of the
Piedmont Blues Preservation Society, a working Bassist and a
self-described, "Warrior for all musical causes." He believes that music
and the arts are a critical component of the Human Condition and has
become a strong advocate for music in our Community.
Events Chair:
Jon Spurlock brings an eye for detail to the team. As an ASID professional
interior designer, he has helped develop area plans for our future facility.
As a graduate of interior design studies at University of Kentucky and a
seasoned pianist/vocalist Jon was one of the first to believe in the mission
and join our team. He now helps plan and stage our special events by
keeping the many nuances of decor', food and amenities in check.
